Brand history

The company was founded by Hugo Boss in 1923
At first, he produced only work clothes - overalls, waterproof clothing and raincoats, and later - various uniforms. Today the company operates under the Hugo and Boss brands with a range of evening and casual wear, shoes and accessories, as well as perfumes, glasses, and watches. In the 2022 financial year, the company's sales amounted to 2.8 billion euros.

Boss entered the international arena as a sponsor of Formula I car racing, football, tennis and golf competitions.
