Brand history

Donna Karan grew up on Seventh Avenue in New York and was initially interested in art, not fashion
She dreamed of becoming an artist - she loved to draw. She studied design and drawing for two years at Parsons School of Design. From 1974 to 1984, Donna Karan headed the Anna Klein brand. During her ten years of work at the Fashion House, the designer was twice awarded the prestigious Coty American Fashion Critics' Awards, inspired investors and opened her own business.
